The California Emerald Cup proved to be better than ever this year with new and exciting cannabis vendors popping up, thoughtful booth and display design and upgraded brand packaging. After I set up the booth for the one-and-only Megan Champion, owner of Deviant Dabs at Darling Ranch, a female farmer and my dearest of cannabis friends, I headed out to see what the Emerald Cup had to offer and here’s what I found…
Garden Society out of Healdsburg, California took me by complete surprise. Chef inspired, low-dose edibles are just on-time in this new and emerging cannabis market. In a world where new canna-curious users are just beginning to sample edibles for the first time, this award-winning edible is proving to be a huge hit. This company is also offering a scaled-down tin filled with 10 mini- pre-rolled joints that are the perfect size to share. Love, love, love this! And, no waste!
The Legion of Bloom was my next stop at the show. I lucked out and got to meet the owner of this beautiful and trusted brand. This is the great thing about the cannabis business right NOW. I buy from local farmers. I meet the team. The owner is front and center and proudly showing off the latest batch of goods. These are the small business owners I proudly support. Legion makes one of my favorite (and strongest) vape pen products, The Monarch. It is lab tested, solvent-free, naturally grown, pesticide-free, small batch, numbered, dated and chic.
