This weekend I am heading to the Emerald Cup in Santa Rosa, California as Creative Director for one of my favorite concentrates brands, Deviant Dabs.
I can hardly wait to see what new and exciting brands have popped up since last year. The hunt for pretty and polished packaging continues! I will be reporting on just a handful of my favorite chic + discrete products.
Today, I am re-reading an inspirational favorite, Do Design: Why beauty is key to everything (by Alan Moore). As a serial entrepreneur, I need all the inspiration I can get. This little book of stories always gets me out of my creative pauses and back to designing. Grab a copy, you will see what I mean.
As I walk the smoke-filled vendor tents in my Rag & Bone blazer with the collar popped, I know I have my work cut out for me. I am in search of like-minded, design-centric cannabis businesses owners to collaborate with. I will report back next week on the brands, packaging and chic people I meet along the way!
