One sunny day back in 2019, ONA's co-founder Nurit and I were sitting outside @thepourchoice sipping on craft coffee and planning our next big adventure together...bringing craft cannabis to Auburn, California by way of @ONA.life.
I took my new friend on a whirlwind tour of the magic little gold rush town of Auburn. We popped into @martinandmattox, strolled through Downtown and Old Town and peered into the empty store fronts dreaming of what could be. We became better friends that day.
When Covid hit and stores, restaurants and dispensaries shut down, cannabis delivery was deemed essential and it was time to launch our project: KellyGreen X ONA. #cannabistothepeople #ona.life
This month marks our 11th delivery to date. Bringing cannabis to the wonderful, funny, strong and curious women of Auburn has made my year a little less sad, because the truth is, cannabis IS essential and for many has been both the medicine and recreation they need during this year long pandemic.
You know how things sometimes just evolve? Well, as it turns out, we are doing SO much more than just delivery. We are the boots on the ground for cannabis education, product information and of course, the ever-so-real conversation about what is working, what is not working, what to take while homeschooling, CBD for pain and how to reconnect while stuck in a house quarantined with your person AND your kids. It's real. At KellyGreen, we call this form of information exchange "girlfriend-to-girlfriend".
Today we were meant to be @thepourchoice Pop-Up Event but because of Covid, our team is opting to join the virtual event that is LIVE right now! We feel proud to be included among other likeminded vendors and craftspeople. SO if you are curious about cannabis, new to cannabis, not new to cannabis but want some fresh products for the holiday or even want to gift cannabis to your friends and family in lieu of gifting a bottle of wine, guess what?
