I was voted "Most Optimistic" in high school. It's true! And on par, I feel I have a pretty bright outlook on the world. But the reality is, as a creative, not every moment is filled with joy and creative inspiration. Some days you just grind it out. ⠀⠀
I listen to motivational Ted Talks whenever I drive. My bedside table is littered with half-read books on subjects from design to leadership. But for me, there's nothing more motivating than speaking with another creative about design. ⠀⠀
This morning, I had the most invigorating conversation with an extremely talented, like-minded product designer and I have to tell you, it brought me so much JOY! It left me feeling truly excited and optimistic about the state of design, the importance of the Joy Economy, Makers and the value of supporting those who create. ⠀⠀
As I move from interior design to cannabis design, my evolution and growth around what's next is a path I am paving daily. And for me, these are the conversations that matter. ⠀⠀
